About Hope Fellowship
Hope Fellowship is a reformed community of believers who seek to glorify God in worship, prayer, love and service. We aim to reach out and meet the needs of widows and children, the hungry and broken both inside and outside the walls of the church. Worship that is true to Scripture is offered weekly in a relaxed, welcoming, come as you are setting. Our worship music incorporates various styles from folksy, updated versions of beloved hymns in the vein of Indelible Grace to unadorned versions of modern worship tunes. Discipleship and fellowship opportunities enable us to grow closer to Jesus and to each other. New members are encouraged to be fully committed and to actively give of themselves in service to Christ and His mission locally and abroad.
About the EPC
Hope Fellowship is part of the Christian denomination known as the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC). We are evangelical in mission and Presbyterian in church government. We are evangelical in our passion for the gospel, as well as evangelism, missions, and living obediently as followers of Jesus.
At the same time, we are rooted deeply in the Protestant Reformation and especially in the theological and pastoral work of John Calvin. We embrace the Westminster Confession of Faith as our doctrinal standard. Each EPC church is governed by spiritually mature elders, and our churches are linked together regionally in Presbyteries for mutual support, mutual discipline and common purpose.
We affirm that the Bible is God’s inspired and infallible Word, and that it contains eternal truth that speaks with authority to our life, doctrine, and mission (2 Timothy 3:16). To ensure that the ideals of faith are easily understood but remain foundational, our core beliefs are contained in a concise list of essentials (http://www.epc.org/essentials).
